Some things about me:

  • Living in Munich, working on the internet since 1995.
  • Founded TinyCloud GmbH in 2000 to solve enterprise-scale software problems.
  • Expert in 'The Rails Way' - scaling from single-server setups to multi-node clusters using Kamal and Kubernetes.
  • Shipped high-stakes projects for Mercedes-Benz, ZKB, and Microsoft/Xamarin.

Some things I believe:

Code is a liability The best product engineers solve problems with the least amount of code possible. Every line is something that can break or must be maintained.

User-centricity is technical Performance, latency, and visual clarity are not 'polish' - they are the core features of a professional product.

Build > Measure > Learn Iterative feedback loops with real users beat architectural perfectionism every time.

The Efficient Market Hypothesis is a lie The best product opportunities exist where the market is wrong or lazy. I build tools for those gaps.
